I want a Ferrari so bad I can taste it. I took a ride in a friends Ferrari years and years ago, it was like drugs. I want one soooo bad. Someday.

I've driven two, a late 90's 355 Spyder and a 2005 360 Coupe Modena . . .both very fast, very stable, extremely precise and incredibly versitile vehicles.
Lamborghini on the other hand . . . not so much :(

I've owned a few -- a 308QV, Testarossa and F355GTB. Yes, they are a joy to own and drive...and the symphony from the engine is magnificent. Will get another one down the road, but too busy enjoying other sports cars right now.
Mitch, the moderator here, owns at least one -- and has driven several different models over the years.
Feel free to ask away with any questions you might have...perhaps one of us can help...

Mclovin, it's not an unobtainable thing to do. When I met Mitch it was pretty much his life goal. He of course had driven many Ferrari's even at that time. He saved like a madman and was able get his dream car. Then he bought a porsche that just crushed the ferrari that he chose. :D But still. He set his goal and met it.
oh and just being friends with Mitch and Chris has presented me with many times driving cars I would have never been able to. In other words, networking is the best way to get you to your goal of driving and one day, owning said exotic.

That is excellent advice Infidel, thanks for everyone reponses. My only wish is to own a Ferrari before I die. I love BMWs, but we are talking FERRARIS.

You know, you COULD join the SCCA . . . .become an instructor and work the track at VIR when they host their Country Club events . . . . ^_^
LOL!
Seriously though, that's a great way to get a LOT . . .and I mean a WHOLE BUNCH . . .of seat time behind the wheel of various cars, to include those of the higher end of the seller's market.

I have!
It is something everyone must experience. Ownership is great but it has a lot of hassles. Give me a call if you want to drive one for a day or two. I promise I can make it cheaper than owning one.
The Lambos aren't bad either.
