View Full Version : OK....I've curbed a wheel.

I was out getting some ice, pulled into the local Mobil station and BAM! I drug my wheel along the curb while screwing around with my GPS. I have a MkV GTI VW with the stock 18 "pizza cutter" BBS wheels. I even put a huge bubble in a brand new tire!! :mad:

So, I need to fix it. Everytime I walk past my car I'm forced to hang my head in shame, as careful as I am I did the unthinkable. I still get that sick feeling in the pit of my stomache everytime I replay the sound it made in my mind.

So, has anyone got experience with someone who will mend my fawked up wheel? I'm looking for quality before cost, as if that needs to be said to this crowd. :D

While I tend to think of myself as a pretty skilled driver, the slower I go the more stupid mistakes I make.

I would prefer something local, was hoping someone dealt with a national network type of company and had a positive experience.
