Protien is essential to a diet. I use a potein powder after all of my workouts. I get 90% of my food from organic sources. And even about to start brewing my own mead, beer. :cool:

I'm sure you can do HIIT on a treadmill. Start at a slow speed to warm up, then increase it way up, then drop it down to slow your heart rate then a high speed again, then down low again. Go for about 15 or 20 min. in small incriments of high pace to start out with.

I'm down 35 pounds in five weeks. I'm doing a lot of what Catmint does, but I call mine the 4 "S" diet - No salt, no soda, no sweets, no seconds. Honestly, I haven't completely cut out salt and sugar, but have cut way back on my normal intake.

As for a picture, here is one of me from my High School Reunion last year. I'm about 25 pounds lighter now than I was in this picture.

My wifes dog (yeah, I know, she had it when we met ....)

Muffin! Poor baby is gone now, passed away. Actually ... the dog always looked as if it had passed away to me. I poked it with a stick every morning to see if it was still alive. (The dog hated me for that ....)

I have a couple of new dogs, GREAT watch dogs!!! We had a few pit bulls in the nieghborhood that were always bothering everyone when we were out for afternoon walks. When I got my new babies .... it seems the pit bulls disappearded, strange. Have no idea what happened to them. :rolleyes:
