Guys guys, please don't be sorry. I was having trouble getting rid of that god-forsaken thing and now my problem is solved. You should all be happy for me. I'm finally getting my M3. Now I just need to find one.
P.S. I'm completely ok, I should have mentioned that.

Does this mean you'll be changing your signature, or is that a different car?
Anyway, sorry and/or congrats! Mostly I'm glad you're okay. :)

Just glad you are ok. FOr $10k you can get a sweeeeet E36 M3. That is your target car, so stay on target, don't settle for nuttin. You can buy a VERY nice car for that kinda money. I will help you find a good car. I would start with asking 4ngie about that one she knows about. Usually the good ones are found via word of mouth. Keep us posted! :)

A nice e36 for about $10k? Really? Hell, I may buy one then. :)
Mitch
11-06-2007, 06:06 PM
SURE!! You can even run across some really nice, well maintained M3s with medium miles for $10k. Miles don't bother me as long as the oil was changed and maintenance was done correctly.

Mitch

What is the latest on the car Phil?
Philip
11-10-2007, 02:25 PM
Allstate is going to have an adjuster look at my car on moday. After determining if the car is a total loss they will make me an offer on a settlement for the car and my pain/suffering. (I have to go to the chiropractor- my lower back is F'ed)
At that point I will belly laugh at their offer and make them a counter-offer that is 350% of their low-ball offer. I'll keep you posted from there.
On a lighter note, I may have found an M3 in Sandy Springs. 1997, 90k miles, original owner, all records kept, 5MT. I'll take some pics for you guys when I go check it out.

If I can find a black one that I can affors I'm jumping on it. I'll post more info about this one later after I get a chance to see it. You guys usually point stuff out to me that I didn't even think of. 200 heads is better than one. :D

Yeah, i thought it was odd that the ad made a big deal right at the beginning about the "BMW original 6-cd changer", then later the fine print says "Radio does not work". What the ?!

I just finished discussing it with Tripps. I think yes, we'll be going. We will probably be bringing Lil' Bimmer if that's alright with everyone (don't worry, he doesn't drink too much wine). Not sure which car we'll take yet, but I guess we've got a whole week to think about it.
Yay! Wine! (crap! diet!)

Holy crap!
WORST vehicle I've ever driven, hands down, no competition. I'm giving this thing back on my lunch break and getting the Mazda3 back. I hate this giant underpowered 7000lb cop car wannabe.

You could hide a f*cking cruise ship in the blind spot on this car. It's a small miracle that I haven't wrecked it yet.

Yuck. Tim had one of its cousins, the Sebring, last week while his Seven was in the shop. It was cool to drive on I-20 because I hit 90 before I even knew it, but it was the ugliest thing I've seen in awhile. Big and bulky and yes the blindspots. And the hood had these odd grooves running down the length of it. I guess it was supposed to look "cool" or "mean" but it just looked out of place. Chrysler used to have some decent cars, now the only one I would consider would be the Crossfire but even that would take a back seat (heh-heh :) ) to the Solstice or even the Saturn Sky. Or, of course, a Bimmer Z.
