Getting tired of cleaning my gutters anyone have any ideas to stop the leafs and pine needles to getting in? I'm not going to change the gutters because of the cost.

Without changing to gutter guard or something similar, I don't think you can keep the stuff out. Pine needles really suck since they get in there and the sap cooks in the sun.
Good luck!

I have learned that down here in Atlanta you cut trees down and in Chicago we plant trees.

Dude, go to lowes and look. They have gutter guards that snap into place and are very inexpensive. I put them on our house in VA for my mom last time I was home. They get the job done...

No problem, they have a few options. I got the white ones, they come in, I think, 3' pieces

I actually had grass growing in one of mine this summer, ironic only because I refer to my backyard as the dirt-farm. I just removed a bunch of trees and I'm installing the gutter railing in the spring.
Who the fock has time to clean gutters?!?

Lucky you! There are other cheaper alternatives, go to Ace hardware, they have those screen thingy that are cents to a yard. Though they're not that effective for pine needles but great in managing leaves. Just measure your gutter all around to give you a rough estimate on how much it would cost. It just snaps on top of the gutter.

I hate cutting trees down, I won't do it unless it falls from a storm or something. I do hate getting all the pine needles out of our cars.

The mesh version might not be as effective here because of the pine needles..GA pines will get you...
