Yes, $650,000.00 That is what someone paid for a 1912 Peerless Model 36-Six at the HHI Concours D'Elegance http://hhiconcours.com yesterday. The truly ironic part is they had to "push" this car off the auction stand. See pics below:

Its really not a lot of money when you think about all the million dollar cars. There are $10 million dollar Ferraris and the $6 million dollar Morman Meteor. For $650k I'd be all over a black Ferrari F50. Oh yeah.

If I could afford a 575 GTC I would still not be able to buy one because I could never decide between the classic Red and flat black.
