Ha Ha I'm number 1...I have the first post. I have a 1988 528e with 170,000 miles on the clock and looks great.

I almost bought a E28 535i a few weeks ago, and missed out on it. It had like 169k on it. I have heard that those E28 cars are probably the most sturdy and best built sedans ever! Welcome to Club Bimmer!!

Yes they are strong cars. You can get 400,000 miles out of it before rebuild.
The 535i is a fast car mine is the slowest model, But when i want to go fast I uncover my e36.
