View Full Version : Cleaning my MAF. Dinan CAI..

Sorry for the newb question, new to BMW's and I really don't want to mess something up already. Around 50k miles and i'm sure its never been cleaned..

'03 325i sedan. Have a Dinan CAI and want to clean my MAF. Does anyone have pictures? Or suggestions?

To clarify...How do I get it out?

I don't know about 10 hp change(some people suggested so) but I could def. tell a difference in both intake sound and throttle response. Worth every bit of the 15 min. it took me.

$5 can of MAF cleaner at Adv. auto parts today did the job

CRC is the stuff to use. They make a cleaner FOR MAFs. You can probably get away with other stuff just be careful.
I can order the CRC stuff for people if they want or just stop by and I'll clean yours FOR FREE> that's the deal of the year.

Sorry, I'm closed on the weekends. I'm at my shop 8 to 6 Mon thru Fri. Just give me a call up here before you head over to make sure we didn't have to run out or something.
