Can't we give up Thorman and Johnson? Didn't want to lose Rentaria or Salty but happy with Texeira.

I hate to lose renteria as well but it has its perks I guess. While I was unhappy with Kelly Johnson initially, i feel comfortable with him at second. That being said, we will have Yunel Escobar at short and I planned on having Willie Harris in center with Andru gone; A line-up I've always liked. Now that we traded for one of the "most dynamic young center-fielders in the game" we could use Willie or Yunel at second (and vice-versa). There are a lot of options and it opened up a lot of money. Granted some of that money will go to Texiera(well deserved) it opens up a lot of salary cap room for a new big name pitcher. And i'm done with my rant, less than a week since the season ended and i'm already excited.

Hey J, Bulldogs play Southern opening game next season. We'll have to get some tickets for that. Southern always plays a good game, not good enough for the Dawgs but should be fun.

Yeah I was Southerns place kicker in 04 when we went to Athens. We put up 28, more than anyone else in the country did that year (pollacks senior year defense). I'm def. going to that game, can't wait. They couldn't contain our option in the past, different story now, not sure how it will turn out..
