What would be the head turning/ultimate color combo for the 335i Convertible...I've heard several people say the Black w/ Saddle brown Interior, Silver w/ Red, Montego Blue w/Saddle, White Exterior w/ Black etc...you get my drift. What do you guys think?

I dont like Saddle. It doesn't look good in person (trust me, I see it every single day)
If I were ordering an E92 I would go with Monaco blue on light grey leather/suede, or Jet Black on red.
Both combinations are amazing in person.

Oh I'd go with a Monaco blue over saddle! That would be smokin!
White w/Red Interior is my favorite...but when shopping for one there was none in the entire U.S. So I found my second choice. Space Gray w/Black Interior.

Ima little out-of-date with current colors. Do they still call it "Alpine-white", the exterior?
Personally, I love the deep blue exterior with any interior color, EXCEPT tan. Yuck! I have tan in my seven and its just not happenin'.

I don't know about current colors, but in 1999 they called it Polar White.
I agree about the tan, definitely my least favorite. And both of our Bimmers have tan interiors!
I've never seen red, in my mind's eye I just keep seeing the red carpeted interior of vans in the 70's (if this van's a-rockin'.....). Anyone have any pics to share so I don't think yer all crazy?

Polar white? Really? I was sure it was Alpine. But, I am not prepared to argue about thats for sure, I dont have facts thats all. I know I looked at a 1998 740iL earlier this year before buying mine and was sure the dealer said it was Alpine white. Maybe he had his facts wrong?
I think it was cool when they used to have the german names for the colors, like my six is schwarz (spelling?), and the interior is Lotus. Just thought made the car stand out even more.

You know what? Who in the HELL ever told us it was called Polar White??? You're absolutely right. I just looked under my hood and it's called "Alpinweiss", which I assume is German for Alpine White. The Alps are much closer to Bavaria than the friggin' North Pole, so it makes more sense! Ha! Thanks for the clarification, I feel like an idiot!

Alan, thanks for the pics.
While I won't deny that's a lovely car, the red is a little blindingly bright for me. I like a calm interior. And by "calm", I mean cave-like. Black. Anything brighter than black is unsettling.
To each his own, that's why they make more than one color!

Philip is wrong. :001_tt2: First he invites me to this forum, then he tells me my interior color is ugly. :boxing542: Nah, I'm just playing. I personally love my saddle brown interior with burl walnut. It looks like a baseball glove...or...ahem...a saddle. I think it's pretty slick, since most cars I see with leather are a beige of some sort, or gray or black. To each his own.... First post! BTW, this forum gets an award for best selection of smiley faces ever.:icon18:
