Well, as a lot of you are from the GA/South East area you all know about the drought. Just curious to see how many of you have very dirty cars or just go up to the local car wash place and get it washed there. My Nissan looks like it went thru a dust storm and so did my BMW before Friday (Oct 26). Damn drought, it is really messing things up personally and professionally.

Not dirty at all. Clean and freshly waxed.
Drought or no drought, I have to sell this car and no one's buying a dirty car.

It sometimes sucks having a dark colored car. But it is nice when it is cleaned up.

Mine is pretty dirty, but only because I refuse to wash a car myself when I can see my own breath. It's fricken freezing up here.

There is a touch free car wash half a mile from my office, conveniently on my way home. I refuse to drive a dirty car so mines pretty clean.

So dirty, this drought is driving me nuts. unlike some of my neighbors, I am wasting water. I think the police have been flying around my neighborhood looking for people breaking the violation.

Draughts suck. Do the police really look for people violating the restrictions?!?!?

I would think, in a city like Atlanta, they would have bigger fish to fry.

Chris, It's pretty nuts in Atlanta right now. $1000 fine and they turn off your water till you pay the ticket. at least that's what I've heard.

Draught doesn't suck . . .I love it . . .Guinness is AWESOME! LOL!

Drought on the other hand, is pretty horrible, I hate it. You would think with all this technology that we'd be able to pipeline water from . . . oh I don't konw . . .THE OCEAN! And turn it into useable drinkable water.

Hell, I was in the Marine Corps, we learned how to turn water in Kenya into drinkable water, and there's much more than salt and poo in that water!

The police are on high alert, we're at Drought Level 4 here in Georgia, that means that technically indoor use of water is supposed to be limited as well . . .

Infidel, i actually heard you get something along the lines of $500 for reporting water abuse. If you aren't friends with your neighbors it might be something to think about. A few neighbors can turn into rims or something...

Or a turbo for my 540i . . . .but I'd have to report like 30 people, LMAO!

Give me a break, dude. The only time you respond to my posts is to correct my spelling, it's getting to be a little annoying.

You keep callin me out, eventually I will react. It's just who I am. In your experience, have you met a lot of passive and meek Bimmer enthusiasts? I would venture to guess the answer to that is no. I know I haven't.

Pardon the harsh reaction if it wasn't warranted. I didn't take it as a joke, but more of a recurring annoyance. I'm busy doing many other things when I post here, sometimes the details escape me in the rush of my daily activeties. And no one likes to be the but of a joke.

Look bro, this is a family, and I've got nothing but love for all of my bimmer buddies and fellow enthusiasts, so if I made you angry, I'm sorry . . .I'm a Grammar Nazi, and admittidly so, I should try to lay off, especially when it's little things. But I do this stuff to everyone, it's not just you bro. You should see how things are when people IM me, LOL! I just believe in putting my best foot forward, however, your mistakes aren't really like blatantly obvious mistakes, they're the type that if someone wasn't paying attention or if someone doesn't realize what they're reading they wouldn't catch it.

I've chatted with people that use phrases and internet terminology such as "ic" or "u" instead of "I see" or "you" and I'll be honest with you, that drives me insane! Is it REALLY that much more difficult to type "enjoy" as opposed to "njoy"?

Like I said, you don't do that, and I thought it was all in good fun, apparently, I was wrong and once again, I apologize.

As opposed to meek and passive, no sir, but most people I have talked to do know how to take and reciprocate a joke. Usually they'll just roll their eyes or sigh, but all in all most I've talked to haven't gotten offended until this recent incident.

Oh well . . .to each his own . . .

-Stig

P.S. "Butt of a joke" LOL! Sorry, I couldn't pass it up :p

MachSchnell

Maybe I have my period this week, apology accepted and offered in return for acting like a whiny beotch.

Maybe it's because I generally take pride in my writing abilities, and felt like a dolt when I saw my own mistakes.

The rub is, I just caught the mispelling of "butt" in my last post. I'm rolling my eyes at myself.

Bygons, my man. Onwards and upwards. Back to the topic of filthy cars.

Hey Mitch, welcome to 10 minutes ago! :D

You know, the worst part of living in New England is that most of the affordable houses (under $300K) were built when having a one car garage was the norm. And that's what I have, also stuffed with tools, mountain bikes, and beer. With the heavy snow in the forseable future, I am looking forward to three months of scraping ice and shoveling snow before my car leaves the driveway.
