Too late. My car was there when you dropped yours off so I saw it when I picked mine up... Mine is no longer there.. I got a new thermostat, fuel filter, replaced oil seperators, put in new air filters and cleaned the MAF's.
I have an SS Xpipe and Magnaflows so I was hoping you would see it since I know you are considering an Xpipe.

OH OH Kelly, tell me everything you know about that SS x pipe. An exhaust buddy talked me out of getting the X pipe because he said the drone would drive me nuts. I was also concerned about losing low end torque. I don't mind if she is louder, but I don't want droning/buzzing and I don't want to lose any of my "usable" torque. Your thoughts sir?
PS Tim said your car is ultra clean and he loves it. I picked up my car last night.

The Xpipe is not really the cause of Drone. It is the Magnaflow mufflers that do it. However it only is at 1800-2000 RPM. Curising ont he highway is not loud at all.
Besides better power/torque and better sound, this mod saved a ton of weight (the M5 stock exhaust is massive).

Tim does great work !

Hey Kelly, ok so what you are telling me is that you noticed no loss of low end torque at all? That is my main concern. Did you notice any improvements in sound, or does it sound raspy? Better mid range acceleration?

We are talking like 5-10lb/ft if that. The torque will move though and not come on as early.
Nothing you will notice I don't think. Not insulting how connected you are with the car but just stating that the difference is not that great.

Sounds menacing :mf_popcorn:
No noticable difference from the Butt Dyno :luxhello:
