Do Work Son!

Doing the important work this weekend. Changed the oil last weekend and went with Shell Rotella T 5W-40. This week on the block is:

Cabin Filter
Air Filter
Fuel Filter
NGK Plugs
Coil Connectors/boots - Often overlooked!!!

Nice. Is the oil filter in a dumb place like on an E30?

Right on top like most BMWs.

M20 has a screw on oil filter. That is not BMW-Style. Even the e28 has a canister near the top.

Yeah, I hate the jackass that did that to the M20. Either have to stick the car on jackstands or stick your hand between the exhaust manifold to get it out.

why do you still have the Texas plate and the 328 badge on it? I don't see the M3 badge :\

Haven't spent the time to register it yet.


There won't be an M3 badge dude. It's not really a funny joke.

It might debadge when it gets the detail. Not going to take it off and wash and wax 1 corner of the trunk. I also don't know if I will actually debadge. I have nothing to hide. It's a 328. So what?

You should but the 328i badge on the M. So that way if some dumb guy pulls next to you and thinks its a 328i, you'll laugh all the way home beating that person. :luxhello: Its a good plan, I know.

I wouldn't to be honest with you, there have been times where I was tempted to put one on mine since every calls it a M3 anyways :p
