Home Link Setup?

my 7 has a home link system. i'm wondering if you guys know how to set it up. i have an idea, but not too sure. i need to program it for my gate and garage door. i have a cadillac receiver and remote if that helps.

i found the details in the owners manual. it was pretty easy honestly. and i dont know if anyone has a sticky on it. both my gate and garage door now open with the car's transimtter. thought it would be a pain.
