Ok well I have jumped my car several times and it would run, but as soon as I turn it off it won't start again. I went to AutoZone and did their free battery charging so I could make sure the battery was fully charged. And I put it in my car and it started right up.

I waited for the next day to arrive to see if it would still start and it did, so I thought it might just be that the battery just wasn't fully charged before and problem solved, but no.

The next day I opened the door and the interior lights came on, so I thought sweet the car is fixed, but as soon as I go to start it battery dies. Sooo...

- Am I stuck getting new alternator?

- Something I don't know is left on? (I can't imagine what)

- Loose wires? (Where would be best place to check?)

- I have an amp in the back and am assuming it always turned on, could that be draining my battery? I've had it since the summer and have never had a problem of my car dying though...

thanks for any help

Sounds like your alternator. Doesn't Autozone also have a thing where you can check and see if it is alright? I would do that before buying a new one.

+2, I would check the alternator as well. Your amp wouldnt cause that unless you run your subs when the car is off.
