What interesting car did you see today? Could be anywhere? Yesterday I saw a sweeet red Ford GT at my office and today I saw a E60 M5, Lamborghini Gallardo and a Maserati Quattroporte. With the weather so lovely now, I expect to see lots more!

Went out for lunch today with a client in his new Bentley Continental GTS.....sweet ride!
....and yes, we put the top down!
Paddle shifters seem a bit silly in it, although he says he tried them.....once!
And the best "car line" of the day can also be attributed to the same guy.....
"I bought this becasue the Rolls Phantom convertible was just a bit too flashy!"

Yes, it was quite a treat. Dark navy blue, beautiful cream-coloured leather, magnificent wool carpeting.......truly "the Rolls-Royce" of sports cars.
And boy, does it go!!! Surprised the hell out of me when he nailed it (I didn't get to drive it) and it seemed to just keep pulling, and pulling, and pulling.....undetectable shifts, really unbelievable acceleration for something that weighs that much.
Not sure if I could stand the looks from the peons in the "ordinary" cars, though.
The gentleman who owns it says you really can't drive it if you're uncomfortable being ogled.........
and yet, there was this lovely, sweet young thing standing at the bus stop that.......well, its a family site, right? Better not give too many details!!!!
Sure was fun to see how "the other half" lives!

I also saw a yellow Pantera GTS and a slew of other cool cars at the autocross on Sunday.

I saw a metallic copper colored Bentley Flying Spur yesterday, it was a strange but cool color.

WOW today i was riding with my friend to go to his chiropractor appt. and on the way i see this beautiful red e24 m6. Then later on after coming back from the polo outlet i saw a black e24 m6. Thats 2 in one day. I wish i would have driven mine.

The guy was selling it for $30k. It was the owner of Payet Motorsports's personal car.

I saw an E36 5 series today. Forest green, blacked out tails, blacked out windows, never saw him stopped so I don't knwo what kind of rims, Angel eyes...Very clean, it looked good. On Peachtree Parkway just off of Ptree Industrial at around 8:30 this morning...

Today while getting some lunch with the coworkers, I saw an AWSOME silver 997T!

I saw a yellow F430 today in Roswell on 92 he was turning and he got on it, it sounded sick! There was a cop beside me and he was looking to but probably not for the same reason lol. I also saw a s13 with a silvia front end which was sick also.

Here she is. She just got traded in for an E46 M3 roady on wednesday. I told the sales dept not to put a sticker on it until I had a chance to discuss buying it, and they agreed. They're currently putting a stock radio in it for me, and I'm meeting with a pre-owned salesman at 4 when I get off to talk numbers.
Everyone say a prayer, cross your fingers, sacrifice a chicken or whatever it is that you do for me, I need all the help I can get!

I love that little E30 convertible! Good find Tim! Yesterday, I saw an incredible Estoril E36 M3 in traffic in Woodstock, getting onto 575 South from 92. The car was GORGEOUS! It had large BBS LMs on it, and I'm telling you I want one sooo bad because of that car. It just looked fantastic.

I heard the S6 pulling out of the garage a few days ago, in a concrete parking structure the exhaust note is simply glorious.

I saw my first Bentley tonight in Tampa, FL. The Bentley Arnage. What a sweet looking vehicle. It was parked in front of the Westshore Plaza in the valet show off lot next to a Hum-Vee and a Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Kind of made them both look plain....

Wow, two Bentleys in two days. This one was a Continental Flying Spur and it was in the Lowe's parking lot in Douglasville. Not as distinct looking as the Arnage. The Flying Spur looks a lot like a Caddy or Lincoln Continental.

One of the Doctors at the place I work has BMW's like I dream of having. M6, M3, 750li, Z8, several classics you have go to his house to see. One of the surgons has several old Ferrari Testarossa he drives to work, and he also works on his cars. Cool guy to talk to.
A few other co-workers have some cool cars. When I want to spot something cool I walk out to the parking lot at lunch time.

We parked beside a 1985 E28 this afternoon at a gas station in Athens, AL. I talked to the owner and gave him a Club Bimmer card. Really nice guy who just started AutoXing with the car. Says he has some friends who are German car nuts and mechanics. The license was from TN. Hopefully, he'll join up and bring some friends. It wasn't mint like Wayne's or Alan's, but something about those E28's just makes you stare no matter what!

I drove to Wendy's trying to find people to go to the game with me, I saw a Black E60 M5 pull into the drive through and immediately backed out to get behind him . . .

BTW, I'm in the Miata at this point . . .

He orders and goes around, I get off the phone with Wayne (he doesn't want to go :() and ordered my food . . .

He gets his food, I get my food . .

He pulls out into the road . . .I pull out into the road, and try to get up next to him so I can get a better look at the profile of the car . . .

Out of no where . . . God screams from the back of his car

Jesus jumps out the trunk . . .kicks the car in the rear bumper and the car takes off like one of those old school pull-back cars . . . .

I think he thought I was trying to race a 500hp supercar in my 128hp roadster . . . :(

I saw an E30 in need of some TLC coming up Hwy 411 in Tennessee today.

It was in bad need of a paint job and was proof that hillbilly's drive Bimmers too.... Actually, other than the paint, it was in pretty good condition from what I could tell. The headlights looked brand new. Maybe someone's new toy.

I also spotted my favorite all time BMW - an E21 318i in white with black trim. If I found one of those in good condition, I'd be on it in a heartbeat. Didn't see it in time to get a photo unfortunately.

I had an E60 M5 at my shop today. Everybody at the shop was amazed at the S85 V10.... This guy has the best of both worlds; a really nice Regal sport cruiser and an M5. Kind of small world because he knows a lot of the same people I know (or know of) in the BMW community.

i saw an x6 today, but that isnt that unusual for me in the past couple of weeks
in fact two guys in my neighborhood work at bmw and have x6s parked in their driveways on different occasions in the past few weeks
i live really near the spartunburg bmw plant so i see them around town a lot recently

Spotted a white murcielago spyder on 285 last night. It was friggin sweet! Had white wheels with red lips, which actually looked pretty good, and an exhaust system which sounded like pure sex.

I always forget how low they are untill I see one on the road and it only comes up to the bottom of the window.

Man that thing sounded good...

Um sounds good to me.

Even the RT. Everything minus the Brembos. Still sounds good to me.

The car looks amazing. Downright sexy. I seriously started merging into another lane on 400N staring at a silver one. I can't imagine how good it looks in the other more striking colors.

Other companies make good cars besides BMW and their M Division. Watch out the for Challengers. I know they are quick in a straight line and I bet it does decent around a track ;)

In all honesty it really is.
If they offered a stripper base-model Challenger with a Hemi, IRS, and a real manual 6spd with 3 pedals, and they sold it for < $25k, I'd be putting a For Sale sign on the M3.

Yah, unfortunately the R/T starts at 30K and the 6sp is 900 bucks.
