I have 92k on my car. I have run full syntheticc and 93 octaine since she was a baby. Would I benefit from puttng seafoam through the motor? I know it is a good idea for a lot of cars, but what about one that has been maintained well?

I've been considering the same. I have 150k on mine. Am I risking causing any oil leaks or anything by doing it?

I've read about the stuff, even seen some viddys on youtube about it, but I am not sure about running it through a BMW. Can anyone else chime in here?

I went ahead and added it. I have no smoke coming out of the tailpipe. It was about $10 at NAPA.

this made me laugh. what's the difference with a bmw vs any other car?
If you sea foam, I've heard that you shouldn't stall the engine when doing it. It cleans up sludge in the engine.

Can't you also just put it in your tank (pre-fillup)?

Did you do it right?
You SLOWLY pull it through the engine through a vacuum line. Should take at least a couple minutes.
Then when there is a little bit left suck in the rest and turn off the car. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes and then fire it back up.
Now hold it at 1500-2000 RPM to clean it out. Then go drive it.
Then change your oil and plugs.

Not on this car bro. I did that on my 92 Ranger because it needed it. This is just a strait shot through thee tank.

Well why not do it the correct way? I mean you could put it in the tank but it is a different cleanse then.
