An e21 is downright dangerous to drive in my mind. It has a scary front suspension(the damn sway bar is a locating arm as well). It has close to zero brakes(carry an anchor with you). It is slow, it can't stop and barely turns.

What's the point? The e30 wasn't just the next step for the 3 series. It slayed it's older e21 brother and shat on the remains.

It is also 'uga red'. No thanks, I don't want to talk to the guy. Would be fun to buy it with my GT hat on and claim I am going to repaint it.

Coming from someone who appriciates Jeep Wranglers? Didn't those just loose carriage spring suspension around 1997?suspension worked great on my 320i. Better handling than my e30 as I recall. ( any of them) It was a blast to drive.

I believe you are referring to the YJ wrangler... Real Jeeps have round headlights ;)

Better handling e21 over an e30? Did the e30 not have springs installed?

We all need to reconsider the fact of what a TRUE Jeep is. Personally, I think YJ's should still be considered Official Jeeps. Not as rugged as a nice CJ, but still rugged as compared to a Ford Exploder/Chevy Blazer.

Real Jeeps don't have heater/ac vents (excluding defroster duct, and floor duct)
Real Jeeps don't have AIRBAGS!
Real Jeeps don't have Hard Top "quick disconnects", and finally...
Real Jeeps don't have COIL LINK SUSPENSION!
..although...it is nice...

I traded my 93 Sahara in on a 97 Sahara because it had a/c. That thing was pants. Next to selling my TR6, was the dumbest thing I have ever done. I miss that old Jeep.
