Set your recorders up.
Friday AM - Speed Channel - Practice 2
Saturday AM - Speed Channel - Quali
Sunday AM - Speed Channel - Race
Under the lights on the streets of Singapore!
After the past 2 races and the controversy this should be STELLAR! Low grip and it normally rains EVERYDAY around the time of the race in this region of the world!
BMW's Robert Kubica is NOT mathematically eliminated yet from the WDC and is in 3rd. BMW is 3rd in the constructors!
Go Red Cars and Go BMW.
Down with Hamilton.

This should be a great race. I've been looking forward to it all season.
I have no problem with Lewis. I'd be happy to see him win the title. It sucks that he got his win taken away at Valencia. The FIA is so hard on McLaren. They wouldn't do that kind of thing to Ferrari. Lewis should have gotten his penalty while the race was in progress - not after the fact.

Oh yeah I am really looking forward to this race. I cannot imagine what it would be like to drive an F1 car in the dark. Amazing stuff. GO BIG RED!! :)

A drive-through would have been penalty enough.. Oh well, I do like Lewis, he's definitely a great driver, butI secretly root for Kimi. He just seems to have bad luck or bad judgment in his races; he needs another title, although don't think it'll happen this season.
Remember when he was with McLaren? Constant engine blowups, tire blowouts and other mechanical problems? Now he leaves McLaren, goes to Ferrari, now McLaren is one of the most reliable ones out there!

I have been waiting for this all season. I don't follow F1 as much as other sports, but I definately watch it if I am not working. I went on the website and was this was one of the races and was really excited for it.

25 Seconds was in lieu of a drive through. The race was over. If this incident was on lap 25 Lewis would have been given a drive through. Approximately 25 second penalty at SPA.
Lewis can drive, however he is in his 2nd season and he thinks he is OWED all the track space he wants and he is very arrogant.
Rumor has it US Grand Prix in 2010. Apparently Indy is not the only possibility. I hope to god it is not Indy. That is one of the worst races of the season. I had tickets when there was the tire debacle. Glad I sold them.

I remember seeing that on tv before I was even remotely interested in motor sports. Bad deal.
Where else would it be held?

Dunno.
Road Atlanta track is good enough but the facilities are not F1 status. Realistically only Indy has F1 status facilities.

It would be really cool if it was at Road Atlanta.

AGREED! Now, I won't have to pay $2000 to go see F1 in Montreal anymore :D
:luxhello::luxhello:
*sigh* only in my dreams.... lol
I think Panoz Motorsports needs to get their act together, and give RA a nice little facelift, worthy of F1 status :D :detective::mf_dribble:
Waiting.... :mf_popcorn:
2018 anyone?? lol

Interesting race. The powers to be in F1 want a more metropoliton type location than Indy. The facilities and race are not the problem, it is a boring city to rich and famous. Bernie is dying for Las Vegas to have a track worthy of F1 so they can party all night. Did you notice all of the comments the powers to be made about Singapore, it was all about the city and the parties.

Jeeez Bernie is a strange little man. I'd love a F1 race in Vegas, plenty of hotels around. The Singapore race was very cool. Sucks what happened to Massa and Kimi.

Venue? Great.
Circuit? Great.
Race? Terrible. Absolutely terrible.
A safety car decided who won the race. There is no where to pass. Big long trains. Bernie wants MORE street circuit like this. Geesh.
Keep Monaco for the tradition of F1. Bring back Silverstone(why is this gone). Make more SPA like tracks. Big, open tracks, that are prime for passing.

Silverstone is gone for the same reason that Indy is gone. No fun things to do for the F1 crowd at the race. Both are in the middle of the country with no jet set activities. Bet on US Grand Prix to be in Las Vegas.

Oh I know 'why' they are gone but why kill the history of F1 because rich people want to get drunk at the races. The race is the spectacle. I hate the current line up of F1 big whigs. They are a genital wart of the scrotum of F1.
I would go to the race in Vegas but I would bet it would be the same boring stuff. I HOPE they build a TRACK. Not a street circuit. Supposedly we will have an US Grand Prix in 2010.

H, your are correct, but my silly boy are a race fan not a jet setter, (at least not yet), and the races are for them and the sponsors.
