I am considering doing this myself on my car. Just because I don't want to put a lot of $$$ into it.(long story)
Have any of you used this ?
It's called 3rd dimension from Sherwin Williams..
Any help is appreciated !

if your going to do anything with paint and a car, do it right. Sinlge stage paints might do a ok job, but they are very hard to polish up since they dont harden as well.

I know the guy at the store. He made me up a "kit" for me with hardener, reducer and some more.. And gave me the "shop" price to boot.
Many local shops are using this stuff now. I know it's not the same as a multi stage paint job, but again, I am keeping cost minimal !
Halston, I have enough black on this car...lol... Besides it's too hot thru the summer. I had a black Infiniti that was horrible hot in the summer.

I worked for SW back in the day. They have very good products. They usually don't sell that product to the public because they try to stay 100% commercial. Make sure you take the time to do the job right.

I got it done this past weekend. It looks awesome. I'm very happy with the paint.. I now know I need to learn more about body work.. But it really looks good.. Only I will see what I did wrong...
No worries...
