Anyone have painted pinstripes on their BMW?

I used to hand paint pinstripes on new BMWs, Jaguars, Infinitis and Mercedes back in 1994-1998. I loved it. I still see my art work on cars in Atlanta traffic, happens all the time and makes me feel good! Anyone have some stripes on their car?

When I did a repaint on my e28 It had tape a true pinstripe is paint. They put a double stripe down the side and a single stripe across the hood and on the rear piller. Black car with the stripes to match the inside.

I agree, I hated tape stripes. They ruin a paint job eventually. I love seeing my artwork in traffic! I saw a Jaguar I pinstriped 10 years ago, last week in traffic!

Best I can tell, mine are painted. I can't find an edge anywhere. Not sure if my car was in Atlanta ten years ago. I've just had her for a couple of weeks. I don't really have a good picture of them. I'll try to take one and post it here. Nothing fancy, just a two-tone double line.

I guess I could still stripe, I did do some amazing touch up on a bunch of nice cars at Flashback when I worked there, so yeah I bet I could! :)

I took the taped stripes off of mine 1 hour after buying it.

I made the decision tonight to take the stripe of my car. White car, black pinstripe. Anything I should know or do ahead of time before ripping it off?

Mine are painted off.....and if I ever find that guy "Jeff" that painted his damn name underneath the ///M3, I'm going to kick his butt!
