Changing Tranny Fluid??????

I have heard Pros and Cons on this Subject about Automatic Transmissions.
I have heard that if you don't tow or do heavy loads. Don't change it.
But on the other hand if you do tow, You should change at least every two years. Your thoughts.

Please don't get Off Topic. We need more Tech information on here.

change every year change the filter every two.... is what i prefer

change atleast every 60k
otherwise your trans will blow betweeon 150-250kmiles...

I change our auto tranny fluid and filter every 30-45k just to be safe. Dom is this too often??

Depends on the model and if it has been changed before.

If you have 100K or the car is 20 years old and hasn't been changed then changing the fluid and fresh fluid/detergents will just make it slip. Sometimes almost immediately.
