That might be the single most reckless thing i've ever seen.
Awesome.

those few minutes were horrid because of the rev limiter. Poor e30.
Although it looks cool. They are crazy over there.....

Okay, okay . . .it's truth time, I'd be lying if I didn't think it was freaking AWESOME when he hopped out the car and let the car do donuts on it's own . . .that said, I wish it were done in a less public spot that way I could at least enjoy it without puckering everytime he got close to a car. That was, as Philip put it, the single most reckless thing I've ever seen in my life . . .and yes . . .it was absolutely awesome!

I guess I am just too old. That was in no way freaking awesome. Reckless, a waste of money, dangerous, useless...like I said maybe I am getting old.

It was entertaining only because I know I can safely watch it on vidoe and think to myself, better them than me. You've got to really want to impress someone to do something like that....
Stig, you are the man buddy. Count me in as a fan of yours!

YAY! I'll chalk it up to Night Majik Radio and not my driving, I know I've made quite a few enemies (as unintentional as it may be) due to my driving. I'm not saying that I've done a bunch of "growing up" but I've realized that my old ways weren't necessarily the way to go . . .if that makes anysense . . .ANYHOW!
Yes, Chris . . .ROCK ON!

You know, as cool as donuts can be, they take NO skill . . at all . . .I can teach my little sister to do donuts in under an hour, she's 14, has no concept of driving and definitely doesn't know how to drive a manual . . .
It's BS to me frankly that they would say "Amazing Driver" like he had to practice donuts . . .the guy in the red car just needs to be hung from a cactus . .

Was he even controlling the throttle? or was what I was hearing right, he was just clutch kicking the whole time while hes engine reved out?

That is not really 'abuse'. REV limiter is there for a reason, it is designed as a rev limiter ;)
On an NA car with cylinder pressures what they are it is no problem. Wouldn't recommend that as much on a turbo car.

Yeah, but that's like saying keeping it just below red line is no danger to your car . . . there's a lot of problem with high revving, whether you're pegging the limiter or just below it . . .it's fine to do in bursts or even sustained while the car is moving but only for short periods of time.
One thing that drifting/clowning has taught me is that there isn't a lot of air going in your radiator when sideways, LOL! I'm willing to bet that his engine probably felt some wear and tear after that one and was probably even a little warmer than what would be considered normal . . .
*shrugs*
Or . . .I could be way off . . .just going by personal experience
