I think they were available in Canada, but not US. I cannot recall if they had a "ix" version of it.

The E30 2dr Touring is a Dutch invention by Luchjenbroers Those models are very rare.
Basic is from a 82-85 series 1 E30, C-style is a mixture from a Ford Escort MkIII combined with original C-style and the boot is from a Volkswagen Golf I.

As far as we know there are still 4 of those alive.

Hartge H35 (M30) engine :
255 hp @ 6000 rpm.
365 Nm @ 4100 rpm
0-100 km/h in 5.9 sec, top speed 253 km/h

Steering and suspension are all original E30 M3, Hartge and Alpina parts. Brakes are stock E30 M3 in the rear and some AP 330 mm rotors in the front. E39 M5 wheels.

And yes, the rear fenders are custom made from sheet metal.
