Not quite as bad was the kid who ran an E92 M3 into a house.

I knew some who wrecked his e46 M3 into a tree (drunk). He died going 114mph into it.

You can find that kid with the M5 on the M5 board talking about the problems he was having with the SMG and traction control settings right before he died. It is a creepy read. Scary as a dad with an M5 and a 17 yr old boy!!

Growing up I lived in Northport L.I., not exactly a place known for poverty. I can't tell you how many high end sports cars were recked by kids who just got their license every year. One year I saw 4 brand new 3ers wrecked by spoiled kids acting like azzholes.

My dad could have given me something MUCH nicer than he did. I got an 83 Buick LeSabre that he drove, then handed down to my mom, and then on to me when she grenaded the engine. I also wrecked it within 4 months (good story for a different thread). At the time I was pissed he didn't give me his Porsche and get himself a new one, looking back it was the smartest thing my folks did. I would have killed myself in it for sure.

And after I wrecked the "free" car, I got back on my bicycle until I could afford to buy my own car. I think I was the only senior that occasionally rode the school bus.
