e28 City lights

I have seen them before, Where can I get them and how much do they cost?

I've never seen e28 city lights. I think city lights became European standard equipment after the the e28 was already fazed out.
I would check Google though.

When I went to 5er fest a year ago a lot of cars had them.

Run my headlights and hook up the city lights. I don't have them hooked up yet and I don't know if I want them hooked up.

You will also need to get a euro grill and the complete lighting assemblies from buckets to mounts to the lights themselves. Wiring may be involved in you do not get a complete harness and it still may be required depending on your year E28.

I recommend the swap and then install HIDs. There is some significant wiring needed but it is well worth it!

Well the e28 doesn't do it that way :)

You can always drill a hole into your euro lights on the high beams? Kind of gangster but the lows look good too.

They do look cool. If you have the city lights on the low beams you can't see them when the low beams are on.
I will look into doing it tomorrow.

Correct. You wouldn't be able to see them. But if you have HIDs in the lows who cares about the city lights player!

If these fads keep up, the word Kraut will become as dirty a word as the word rice. I know my opinion isn't worth anything, but DAMN! People are ruining some nice examples of older BMWs with crap parts and ill fitted " upgrades" . Makes me want to get into old SAAB 900 SPGs.

I wasn't aware of a single 'replica' Euro Light for the e28. I am running OEM, from Germany Euro Lights. IIRC they are Hella or Bosch.

I Just want it with City Lights on the High Beams. As for spending $250.00 on the car I'll just keep it stock. I would rather put $250.00 into the e36. Its just a DD.

The e36 just sits in the garage under cover.
I did spend the money on the Low beams to Hella Bulbs. The Stock Bulbs were just to much like dirty yellow.

Maybe I said it wrong, The stock low beams are Sealed Beams. I put in The Hella Ones with a Blub that can be replaced from the back. A lot Brighter.

Don't think I ever will. Only other lighting upgrade will be fresh bulbs in the taillights and when I get my e34 bumper on I can put in HID Fog Lights :)
