So you guys all know my car by now. I just replaced my fan clutch.
Basically my car is running hot, almost in the red, and my dad says the heating doesn't work. He thinks it might need a new radiator.
What do you guys think?
And don't worry, I won't drive it.

When was the Thermostat been replaced? If you havent replaced it, then that could be it. That was my problem in my e21. If thats not the case, it could be the radiator.

Simple rule when you get an e30. Service all the common engine wear parts upfront. Water pump, t-stat, and timing belt should be the first on the list!

Have you bled all the air from the cooling system? The bleed screw is on top of the thermostat housing. If you don't have a Bentley BMW e30 Service Manual, get one. It has all the information needed to keep your e30 in tip-top shape.

If any of you care, my dad replaced the thermostat today while I was at work today and all seems fine. I have the day off tomorrow and plan to go out and rag the hell out of my car to make sure it doesn't overheat again.

Update plzz?
I just got back from a 45 minutes drive with the A/C on full blast the whole time and the needle for the temp didn't go past the halfway mark the whole time, so it seems to be fixed.

Werd.
Well, I lied. I turned the A/C while I blasted through a tunnel so that I could hear better.
