ok so im not sure what a ski pass hole is. ll i no is there is nothing that i can see that is "easily" removable for the sound to travel through the trunk and into the cabin =( it sounds pretty loud. i like the idea of massaging seats but i would prrefer to go deaf if you kno what i mean.

BMW made it to where I could take out the steel plate (with a few hits from a hammer). I put loom around the edge so I could not cut myself because it is pretty sharp.

No one is ever in the rear seat and I cannot see the two pieces of wood that brace my amp rack to the car. I may finish it off with some masonite and black carpet in the future. It took about 3 good solid hits to knock that piece of steel out though. Not sure if other BMWs are like the E34 though. I have my center seat belt tucked under the seat as well. It never gets used and is an eye sore laying all over the seat.

ok so i have the e66. in the back i have a sub box ontop of the rear seats so i cant really do anything there. about the armrest in the back i think i can do something like that but that was the one thing i wanted to avoid. was cutting up my car..... grrr i think im just gonna have to pay the extra 700 to get a custom made box into the trunk ported into my cabin thru that armrest

The sub will sound better if it were firing towards the rear of the car. The more surfaces that the sound can reflect off of the better.
