O LORD.....I LOVE this car!
I had the honour of a test-RIDE (no, I wasn't allowed to drive it) in one a few months back. The dealer was delivering it, and offered to take me along for the final test.
Sitting in the right front seat, while loafing along at about 100 km/h (60 mph), he asked to me to reach up and change the radio station on the dash, at which point he FLOORED the throttle.
I LITERALLY couldn't reach forward for the dashboard, and before I knew it, the speedo was hitting 260 km/h. Almost instantly. Quiet, smooth, utterly sedate; you could put your in-laws in the back seat for a ride to dinner and they'd never know. Until that kid in the 5.0 Mustang beside you gives you the look, and the light goes green, and you forget about your passengers just one time.
Man O Man, WHAT A CAR!!!!!
My son called it "a 7 series on some SERIOUS F-ING steroids".
I'm not 100% sure, but I think he soiled himself in the back seat that day!
Now, if they only built it with a stick and that missing left pedal.........
