What do you guys know about Ascot Green?

Julie and I went and looked at (and loved) a 98 328i that was very nice. I had to pop the hood to find out the color, never heard of Ascot Green. Its a super nice color, and has to be rare as I have never seen another Ascot Green E36. Does anyone know where I can find out how many were made? Or what years that color was available? Its an awesome looking car! Your thoughts?

Ha haaa! Actually I read that Ascot green was extremely rare. In fact, only one member on BF has one!
