I figured those who attended for the last event would be more than anxious to get out there and get some time again! The price ain't half-bad either!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 2008 SESM event staff team has decided to open up track positions to non S2000 and NSX owners. The 2008 South Eastern Super Meet includes a track day on Friday June 6, 2008 at Little Talladega Grand Prix Raceway http://www.tgprace.com/
Cost to participate will be $175. We anticipate running 4 groups with no more than 10 cars in each group. The goal is to get in 4 morning and 4 afternoon runs per driver.
We welcome any car enthusiast to join us for an exciting day of driving. Feel free to check out http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=572368 for more information.
Actual event registration will be handled through Eventbrite http://sesmtrack.eventbrite.com/
Feel free to email me at sesm08@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Bill K.

Yeah, the price seems really good, I figured it'd be a good chance for us who missed it to get out there and get some seat time, and those who made it to get out there again and show us the proper line to follow.

HAHAHA! Nah, if you can make it, that'd be awesome, I'd love to break bread about racing and such, if not, that's cool, I'll see you at the next event! :)

If I destroy a clutch or explode a diff my car would be out of commission for a long time.
I am expecting a resolution from my situation with AllState and the 325is soon, so I might turn that check into a 91 318is. I got a new attorney yesterday and he seems to think that he can get me the $4400 for the damage to the car, about $1500 to take care of my chiropractor bill, $1500 pain and suffering and another $5000 because they drug it out longer than 60 days. We'll have to see, my fingers are crossed.

thats the fun of a track day, you dont HAVE to drive balls to the wall. I was actually being rather nice to my clutch and breaks...tires got a beating though.
Good luck with the insurance thing man. And let me know what happens to the 325.

Not totally sure, this event is held by SESM and it's sponsored by various S2k and NSX clubs so I'd imagine that they'd be the predominant force in effect there. I would love to get some Club Bimmer members out there to represent the German side of things and I'm going to see if any of the MX-5 owners are up for it. I also posted in a few of the Mustang forums, but most of them aren't really into track days of this sort.
We shall see how this one turns out.

Oh I enjoy smoking some Acura Legends... Oops I mean NSX...
You know anyone over there to get me a discount :) Seems they can get 20 bucks off :(
Also post says 10 people on track at a time? That is going to be horrible...
Also give a discount if I volunteer to "instruct"? Up to about 15 or so events plus a Bondurant 2 day school... Club Race License will be acquired in December :)
Got an email contact for dude in charge?
Dewain@Dewain.com ???

I'm going to go ahead and assume that the email you show is the primary contact, hopefully contacting him will shed some more light if he is not I'm sure that he can point us in the correct direction.
Here's the link for registration to the track: http://sesmtrack.eventbrite.com/
I'll be signed up as soon as I work out my financial situation.

I never heard about this, what happened?
My first bimmer, a '94 325IS got hit by a #$%^^&^$%&* moron in November and I've been battling AllState ever since. They are f_cking criminals and they won't give me an honest settlement. They've tried to intimidate me and give the run-around in an attempt to get me to accept their ridiculous low-ball offer so I got an attorney.

Sorry to hear that man, I wish you the best of luck, we had a similar but nowhere near as bad situation when the E30 got in a minor wreck last spring, it does suck.
Although, if my math is right, and you get all the money you are expecting, that is over 12 grand coming to you, hope you spend it well. I smell a turbo for the M3.:luxhello:
