I was thiiiiis close to buying a E34 M5 a few years ago, but ended up with my E34 540i6. I still want a 1993 M5. They are among the best looking sedan I've seen! Love those M5s!

They are very nice, I wouldn't mind owning one if I could afford the purchase price or maintenance . . .or ownership costs . . . or licensing fees (at this point anyway)

Yes I know that all M5s are maintenance needy cars. I drove a couple of E34 M5s and they were awesome to drive. I still want a black one with staggered throwing star wheels!

2 of the best car chases EVER filmed, including a spectacular ride through PAris in an earlier M5 being chased by a Renault M16? Makes the Mustang/Charger duel in Bullitt look like school kids.

Why wreck an M5 that is almost double of what a 525i costs? It always seems that the BMW is what is getting wrecked, just like in transporter. They need to blow up some Mercedes, lol.

Yeah, that made the hair stand up on my neck. I actually said out loud in the theatre "Oh COME ON? Are you f*cking serious?!"

As much as I like the E34, I prefer the E28. As dated as the styling is it just seems perfect to me.

I've done that before. They just love to blow up and crash BMWs....
