Yes BMW made a few hundred E30 M3 convertibles. They are very rare and very expensive! I'd love to have one.

Just kidding, yes, they are beautiful, I'm still torn however, if I buy a E30 M3 Cabrio, I could afford the modifications necessary to make an E34 Cabrio, and I honestly feel the E34 Vert would trump all verts on the road today . . .

There were no e30 m3 convertables sold in the US but someone may have shipped one over. What has been done is a few well skilled folks out there built their own. I was just drooling over one in the latest issue of Bimmer. I'd like to do the same with my 92' 325 convertable. Sweet!

I've only seen one in person, it's a gorgeous little car! I'd only want it for it's rarity, though. I can't imagine it's a good track car having driven several E30 cabs.
