Just you, your car and a helmet! Actually they had several loaners out there, the SCCA is good for that, it was just bitter cold so a lot of people weren't too happy, LOL!

Picture #3 is me in the Black Leather Jacket walking to my friends car. I got a ride in my friends car and his best time was 57 sec. Not bad for the 2nd time ever doing it. And that was when the lot was still wet in the first group.

Hell yeah, my best time was a 62, the best drift time was a 68, LOL! I DNF'd with an 80 sec pass because I spun on the last slalom section, LOL!
I don't know if you saw them Wayne, but the group of girls working corner 3, I had them cheering me on because I was sliding EVERY corner on my runs, LOL!
It got so bad that people were EXPECTING me to slide, every time I was about to clear a corner they would be there waving their arms, pumping their fists and screaming as loud as possible screaming "COME ON!" and "DO IT!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! It was SO MUCH FUN! I have NEVER seen anyone get so pumped up about a drifting Miata!
The shining moment is when I was able to go out there and do some instruction. I got my student to run a 62 in the car, then I had to go out and beat his time all while still pushing the tail out around turns. It was so hilarious, the guy working the start box was just holding his hands up and said "I thought you were gonna clean it up?" I just replied "I did, you didn't see any tire smoke did you?" LOL!
An absolute blast!

now i really want to do one of these, if only to be able to drift my car, there isnt anywhere really safe to do it here and i dont like doing it on the streets, too many accidental drifts that scared the crap out of me
