I just do not understand all the energy and effort to create something that will never be the big selling point. If you want a BMW buy one. California is a special place with all the free expression and what not but this retarded. He is so proud yet I wouldn't show my face with junk like that. The #1 problem with the RICE scene is the flat out cheap ass quality materials they build with. All day I see these Hondas, Mitsu's and Nissan's and their body kits are half hanging off and they all have that same lawn mower exaust. My fav is when they are driving down the road and the panels (bumpers, sideskirts, etc.) are flexing and flapping in the wind. I can respect the quality of some Jap engines and drive trains but the build quality of the rest of the car is junk.

And unlike most showcars, I drive the car regularly. So I DO get to pounce on the street from time to time against willing (yet, unsuspecting) victims.

Some would feel that the Uber M3 might've been "riced-out" to a degree. And I acknowledge the fact that it was originally built for the movie FNF3 to appeal to that demographic. However, MOST everyone that sees the car compliments me on how clean the car was built and how tasteful the modifications were added.

When it comes down to it, it's like you said...it's a matter of what appeals to you and what you want and what you're willing to pay for. Like my Mom used to say: "That's why they make chocolate and vanilla...everybody's got different tastes."

And I can't wait for you (and the rest of my fellow Bimmerphiles) to see the car in person also! I think you're gonna like it.

The car was originally built for FNF3 but they decided not to use the car when the director changed the plot of the film to a drifting movie and alot of the filming took place in Japan (where most all cars are right-hand drive). At the time, I had been following the car for a couple of years (because I knew the guy that built it would eventually sell it) and when it became available, I jumped on it immediately.

The FNF3 accolade (even though the car wasn't ACTUALLY USED in the movie) has been a pretty cool story to tell everyone about the car though. Thanks!
