hey everyone,
lately my thermo needle has been settling a little past the halfway point where its supposed to be. is this bad, or is it ok to run a little warm? i dunno, maybe its just my needle going bad

i wouldnt worry about it too much if its just a little
you might want to check your coolant and top it off if its getting a little low

Bleed the system and if you are really unsure, flush it and change the t-stat.

Yes. Also check all your gauges & make sure they are operating normally. A bad instrument cluster ground will cause inaccurate readings. If you have access to an infrared temp gun, check the actual temperature at the thermostat housing.

I agree with Alan, there was a problem years ago with the M5 temp gauge reading a little too high sometimes. It turned out that it could be a faulty sending unit or a bad thermostat.
