I thought the purpose of these type of forums was an appreciation of the marque we drive? In particular, BMW's are "driver" cars, no? I have driven over 50 miles to meets. I think Ralph (RP540i-Sport?), drove from Alpharetta or something to the last meet in D'Ville? I mean, isn't meeting other folks that share a common interest the point?

The only real reason I wouldn't make a meet would be family obligations and/or work.

I say get off your high horse BMW owners and drive your cars the way The Germans intended. Stop crying about your pocket book, if it's HONESTLY hurting your bank account that badly, you either need to stop driving BMWs or stop talking about motorsports as if you actually participate!!
