How do I get Bird Doo Doo out of my paint? I talked to a few Body Shops and say Sand down and repaint. I have a 1988 528e with Single Stage Paint. Any other ideas?

I have a couple of ideas that may work without having to shell out for a repaint.

Is the poop a top surface stain or etched deeply? Location area on car?

Have you attempted to remove this mar? What did you use?

Do you have a buffer?

Its on the Roof.. Deeply in paint....My Body Shop said they did Buff it out, Or did they?

How long was the poop on the paint? You can basically just use some mild compound and polish it out. Follow up with wax of your choice.

It was on the car when I got it. About a year.
