i wanne order new tail lights, side markers, and turn lights, but i cant decide if i want them smoked or clear...

any opinions?

what would look best with the dakar yellow

I vote for smoked!! Clear would just look too Ricey IMOP. A carbon fiber look would be pretty sweet with yellow maybe??

yeah black and yellow look real nice together, but i was just looking at the lights for right now, im slowly saving up money to put into the car and right now it has some rice AVP looking headlights and tailights, so yeah 1 vote for the smoked

I vote for smoked, too. I've got clear on mine but it's a white car so would look good with either. I definitely think smoked would be better on yours.

Blecch! I just looked at one of your old posts with a closeup picture. That's rather... odd. Would maybe look okay on any other color car, but not yellow! I've not seen those before.

me neither, i was shoked, but i settled, i love the color, love the car, loved the interior, everything was grand cept for the lights, ill spend the $700 and make it look pearl

but i wanted the glass depo angel eye headlight kit, would it match the smoked lights?

I recommend steering clear of Depo's. I have a set in my room that are not in my car because they fell apart while I was installing them. Just spend the few extra dollars and get the real-deal ZKW's.

yeah? everyone says the depos are the way to go :/ how much are the ZKW's?

Depo's are good, Philip just got a bad set of headlights, He thinks they might be knock offs. I would say the same thing if I got a bad set. It just puts a bad taste in your mouth.

haha, now im a bit confused, im probably gonne go with the depos tho, especially the ones that already come with the angel eyes, saves me about $200 and ive heard plenty of good reviews

Yep. It tastes like cheap korean plastic and dog poop. I don't like it.

I've got depo headlights and they're great, if that's any help. They were recommended to me by a fellow Club Bimmer member, and I think several people on this board have depo headlights.

As Cindy said, we got the depo headlights and I had no problem installing them - except the angel eyes are funky on a wagon. Still haven't hooked them up yet because of where you have to get power for them.

I know you don't need anymore votes, but smoked rocks on that yellow car.
