Amber Bulbs...

If I buy these smoked corners, what kind of bulbs do I need to get so they don't appear amber, the invisibulbs? Anyone know where to find the best price?

i honestly dont know i just remember reading about them on another thread and they are chrome/clear when they are off and glow amber when they are in use... the only site i could find is

Make sure whatever bulbs you get are GA legal, they will nail you man. Be cautious!

Sounds good, thanks for the warning. I don't care if they glow amber, I just want them to be basically invisible until they are on. I don't want my corners to glow amber though as I will always see amber when my car is on, not sure how strict GA laws are...

Perfect for the sidemarkers. What about the corners. When my lights are on it will always glow orange? I would prefer if it didn't always appear orange, I don't want that look at all. Getting clear corners or smoked corners, whichever I can find.

u wont be able to tell with the stealth lights, the only time they will be orange is when ur lights are actually being used

Definitely go for the silverish Stealth bulbs instead of the blueish Sylvanias.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question already, but how illegal would these bulbs be in white rather than amber? I really want to avoid any amber color at all if possible..and if illegal, how strict are cops with this sort of thing?

1. I know it's illegal
2. I doubt they're very strict. I completely disabled my parking lights (turn signals/hazards are still 100% funtional though) months ago and no one has said anything about it.

never had a problem with my parking lights disabled. The only thing they really care about is blue and red lights and blink.

wow, if that is the going rate for e46 lighting, all i have to say is that e39 lighting is WAY more costly.

Not necessarily the "going" rate for most sites. I found the corner and side markers on ebay.

I got my corners and sides(smoked) off ebay as well, they are just fine, and only $70 for both of em shipped :D

Just gata get the rear smoked and some chrome bulbs, oh and HID's...oh and high wattage bulbs for the highs and fogs....yeah that should do it :)

I have xenons but +1 for all of the rest. Want to find some ballasts for my Fogs..

drop me a PM, im waiting on a price for some 55w HID's(should be under $150 per set). If I didnt have a ton of other crap i had to spend money on I was thinking of getting one set for the fogs too :)
