Well guys and girls i guess my E30 (AKA AH / Dirty 30) is going to be down longer then i thought!!! Tonight we got the subframe in, all the new bushing in the back, We got the SS brake lines in, New CSB and guibo and the custom E-brake system in! But when we were doing the trans mounts we broke the piece of metal that the trans mount bolts to , so that means the trans has to come out now:( This car has been a bitch through this whole process and now i guess i am pulling the motor and trans now.... which sucks!!! I am also running out of funds for this car i just spent over $700 on the stuff listed above and havent even done shocks and springs yet.... and now i have to buy the whole rear section of the tranny and fix all the other stuff that i find wrong while we pull the motor out!!! I am not to happy about this!!!!

Just needed to vent this out thanks for reading!!!

just remember you can have an awsome picture of phillip standing next to it when its running....yeah you heard me just think of the caption.

Take your time man, nothing goes as planned, at least you should be able to just weld that peice back on the tranny.

I had the motor and trans out of my E30 a few times. Not a fun job, good luck and let me know if you get stuck...maybe I can help.

Dude, are you surprised? I mean seriously it's named AH for a reason. That car is a F'in AH! It will be a F'in FAST AH when you're done with it.
park AH in the garage and go drive your M and let all your stress blow out of those Ansa tips. The AH is your project car- no use rushing it.

Thanks guys i know it is a project car but it has been on jack stands for 2weeks now and i miss driving my AH! I wanted to see how the fresh susp would feel compared to the old one but now it will have to wait a couple of months no big deal though!

the brake line thread is fuxxored

the trans is broke

but on the other side

you now have 700lb springs out rear
a ****ty dash
a 2 into 1 exhaust
amazingly tight rear end
welded diff
custom ebrake setup in the works :)

all thats left is
control arms w/ bushings (offset)
tie rod (ends)
fixxed camber plates
450lb rate springs up front
(fix the trans i broke)
trans mounts
motor mounts

its about to get stoopid up in here!

All I keep thinking is . . . yeah, that's all good . . .but 700 bucks . . .I can turbo my car, and probably still have enough money left over to get some struts . . .perhaps . . .^_^

its all togeather!!! (minus 1 trans mount >.<)

brakes are a little mushy due to some **** being stuck in the left rear caliper and not being able to bleed properly....
