It features full mandrel bends (not compression bends, like those done at muffler shops) for maximum flow and a straight through, wide open muffler with NO baffles, NO chambers and NO restrictions. The system installs with simple hand tools and in most cases, can be installed by the average do-it-yourselfer in 30-60 minutes.

Have you driven the 335 before and after the Magnaflow exhaust system? I bet it makes a nice increase in power. Those 335s are very mod-able.

Thanks

Kelleyo,
Magnaflow has no plans at this time to produce a system for the E39 M5 but if we see enough demand for the system we will look into the possiblity of producing one.

Kellyo is demanding it. It should be done. You could make a killing on these cars. My cost on the Dinan exhaust is over a thou. I won't pay that and I am a Dinan Rep. Out of Production BMWs respond Sooo well to cat back systems. 98 M3?

There are a ton of M5 owners who are putting Magnaflow mufflers on to replace their OEM cans. If you do not believe me see this: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=magnaflow+M5

Check out this system that costs $1995.... http://www.britalman.com/e39M5exhaust.html Nice system but you will see that the dual muffler favors one exit pipe so it is not evenly split. The guys that have these say that the inside pipe gets all sooty and the outside pipe stays clean.... Believe it or not this is the one I am looking at, or I am going to have a custom exhaust built with a mix of Magnaflow and Supersprint (xpipe) components...

The other choices are Eisenman, Dinan, Kelleners, and Tubi and they go up to $3,500!!!!

I know you guys can do better than that! Let me know if you want an M5 to work with and I can find you some guys in Orange county....

If you guys can get a list of M5 owners on this board who would be interested in a Magnaflow system, I'll see what I can do.

Here is the YouTube video of this MagnaFlow system paired with the Borla primary pipe/secondary cat delete, does not sound as good as the custom MagnaFlow system I had and is down a little on power but should be perfect with new downpipes. The Borla pipes are made to work with the Borla catback, but not all catbacks, and the shop that installed the exhaust had to modify all of the pieces to work together.

Here is the custom system with secondary cat deletes:
