Center Console...

Has anyone taken apart their center console? I started taking apart at the stereo and poped out the ac controls, but could not figure out how to get the rest of the stereo out. I am sure that I am not seeing a screw or two, but if anyone has taken theirs apart, or know where I can find a diagram please let me know.

on either side of the head unit there should be two little flaps that flip out towards the doors and there will be little screws inside them a small allen key should do the trick but be careful they could be a factory type special screw hope this helps

The factory radio tool pn 82111467971 is a 5 sided allen. I usually just grind 5 sides into a clipped wire coat hanger. Grind it to a pencil tip. Works every time!

First step though is to carefully remove your dash (wood) trims on each side of your stock cd radio to get to the torx screws...
