Experience with Insurance Quotes?

There are a few of us working with insurance companys so I thought this might be a good opportunity to get some words of wisdom. Those of you with experience, what am I entitled to, can I recover tax tag and title that I payed just 4 months ago, how do I go about "challenging" the number they give me if its not acceptable? Any input is greatly appreciated.

I think you should be able to get it back, or at least a pro-rated portion of it. When my 325 was totalled out, Progressive gave me back the tag fee I had paid a month before.

Perfect. I'm going to try for tax tag and title. I just bought my car 4 months ago so hopefully I can justify having those covered as well.

you are owed what it will cost to replace your car, that includes all taxes and fee's you would need to put it on the road.

Eh...

I went shopping around to Progressive and the other big insurance companies locally because the internet just gave me a quote with no rewards or breaks (I have a clean record) online for some reason. Luckily for me the major insurance companies are close to me and each other on US78.
