Saw a rare E36 this morning!

I did not have time to get a photo but I crossed paths with an Estoril Blue 318ti! No kidding, I've never seen one before.

My wife and I are big fans of the TIs, they are a lot of fun to drive. Very tossable! Here is a pic of Julie's black 318ti, its a great car!

That's cute! It's kind of.... squatty. Sort of how I picture the 1-series. Very nice.

I also saw a very E36 this morning. It was an Avus M3 coupe with optional Motorsport wheels and Dove leather. The car even had full service records and the original window sticker! Man, some lucky guy has a very cool car.

Yes Cindy, in fact I consider the new 1 series to be a direct replacement for the Ti. It drives very well and handles unbelievably well.

I love my car. I'm biased, but I think the ti's have a lot of personality. I like that they are less common than sedans and coupes. It really handles well and is a lot of fun to drive.

The e46 ti's are very cool. Too bad they were never sold here. They probably wouldn't have sold that well here and would have been underappreciated by most buyers.

I agree, this is what I want to do to Julie's car. Just add E36 M3 goodies, it will bolt right up. If she wants, we will put a 325 engine, or ever a M3 engine in her car if she wants!
