Although technique-wise he was a nightmare, and purists don't like him, you gotta admit Keith Moon was one of the wildest and most entertaining drummers there ever was.
PS: Hint, Philip, it's Neil Peart without an "s" and you may want to Rush out and pick up some of his work.

I have never thought of ELP as a place to go for a great solo, From any one of them. Palmer dose have a nice skill set.
