My thought: SMG sucks, and it's horrendously expensive to fix.
And yes, they all eventually break. 6MT FTW.

Yeah me to i drove my friends M3 SMG and i hated it! Its just not the same as going through that six speed manual gearbox! The only thing i liked about it was downshifts it sounded so sick :walkman:

QFT. The 330i has especially horrible SMGs. The M3 is alright, I'd buy one if I had a wife.... and I don't plan on marrying the girl I'm with for a long while :1eye:
