And I can't tell who's happier, Tim or Lil' Bimmer (or is he called MINI-Tripps now?). Unlike our last MINI, on the '07 the rear sunroof actually opens!

Gah, we look like such goobers in that picture, don't we? Sheesh! :rolleyes: It's the glaze-eyed "finally this is over" look we always have after spending so long at a car dealer. Although I have to say, we got this one from our friend Amanda at MoSA and I can't say enough about her, it was a very pleasant car-buying experience. What took so long is her showing Tim all the features. This thing could probably do my laundry for me, it's just chock-full of stuff!

Thanks guys! I just had a blast driving it in to work this morning. Even got a little sideways turning onto Williams Street from I-20 (shhhh, don't tell Cindy).

The turbo is awesome. I can't wait to see how it sounds once I add the CAI. I've been told it can hit 190 HP if done correctly and we have a MINI expert modder in my "other" car club.

I'm sure it would only take but some software, a CAI (as you mentioned) and an exhaust and that thing will scream!! Turbos respond very well to mods!! :luxhello:

The sound is great and I haven't even played with the settings yet. It has bluetooth for your cell phone and the thing scared the hell out of us last night when the phone rang! 10 speakers worth of ringing phone is enough to make someone wreck!

My one big disadvantage is FWD. The Miata, set up properly, would probably handle a slight bit better. Of course, most of it has to do with the driver....:wave:
