Club Bimmer Meet #4 in Duluth, GA Jan 26th!

Hi everybody! We are having so much fun with these Club Bimmer GTGs! Our next get together will be at Kurt's Restaurant in Duluth, GA on Jan 26th 2008 at 4:00pm.

They have invited us to come visit the restaurant, which is full of awesome car racing memorabilia. Kurt is a big racing fan, and loves BMW. He is friends with Hans Stuck!

We will have our own place to park just for BMWs and we will be enjoying Kurt's incredible beers (for those that are old enough). His Optimator beer is out of this world! Its going to be great, and I know the weather will be better this time.

Again, forgive my ignorance (knowing me, he's probably the CEO of BMW-NA and I've just insulted everyone in the entire Club).

Hans Stuck (pronounced schtook) is the MAN! He has a lot of involvement with BMW and with creating and testing prototype BMWs. Extremely celebrated racing driver.

They have those really good outdoor heaters, so it might work. We could always sit inside if we have to. Gumbeaux's would be fun too, but a lot of people don't like cajun and the parking situation is always bad.

I won't be there either. :( I have a family gathering that my mother just announced the other day. On top of that, this weekend is the official start to my moving in my new house. I do have good news! It appears my girlfriend is pregnant. Looks like 3 or 4 weeks in. So after a 9 year hiatus I am now creating babies again. :)

I will swing by after work. I think I remember how to get there. I put the 318i in the concours there last summer. I will have to haul tail since I work til four. I usually drive the 318i to work on Saturdays. Maybe I will bring Tormy so I don't lose time. I'm In !!

A few people were asking me if I would be able to make it, well, I have a freind's car that I have to fix who lives up the 285, it's a Honda (easy) and it's one of the transaxle half-shafts (easy) so it shouldn't take too long!

When I'm done with that, I'll see if I can make it, I guess everyone will be gone by then, so I'll just have to catch up . . .not that anyone cares...
