View Full Version : Hazard warning lights?
Hello everyone. I have a 328 and just recently the hazards flash two or three times (occasionally) when I come to a stop. The left and right turning signals have also started doing this. Anyone any ideas what might be causing this to happen? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Red1:confused:

How is your battery? Charging system? I have had a weak battery for a long time and sometimes it will set off the hazards when I start it up. Look into it.

Yes that is the first place I would look. When my battery went bad in my 540i6, all sorts of stuff started happening, like my stereo would not work, then my bright lights would not work. Its probably the original battery, and batteries realistically only last 4-5 years in most cases. Keep us posted!
Defective hazard switches will also cause problems like this.(Particularly if they've had coke or coffee spilled in them:( )

/agree with Alen.
The other thing would be a short/bare wires.
Thanks everyone. I had the battery checked today and all is ok. Next stop the switch. Fingers crossed!!

I am sure it is something simple like a bad ground. Good luck and keep us updated on what you find.
